Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level systems engineer to support daily responsibilities and work on designs for installation of hardware components into various facilities. The role emphasizes timely delivery, adherence to contract requirements, and collaboration with teams to meet mission objectives.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least ten years in systems engineering, with a U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance and a favorable polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or related discipline is required.
• Ten years of systems engineering experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs for installation of components and assemblies into chassis, racks, cabinets, workstations, customer facilities, and/or shelters.
• Plan, direct, review, and coordinate preparation of project documentation to meet customer contracts and company requirements.
• Prepare specifications, evaluate vendors, and analyze test reports.
• Prepare functional requirements and specifications for hardware acquisitions.
• Analyze hardware specifications and system requirements to design hardware components.
• Develop hardware installation schedules based on setup, integration, and test timelines.
• Conduct site surveys and document current site network configuration and site-unique requirements.
