Job summary

Oak Leaf Solutions is seeking a Level 3 System Engineer to lead and manage system requirements and architecture for DoD programs. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, develop and refine system requirements, and ensure traceability from concept to deployment.

The role requires DoDAF/SOA experience, strong technical leadership, and collaboration with government stakeholders. Applicants must meet stringent security clearance requirements and work in a government-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with DoD architecture frameworks (DoDAF) and service-oriented architectures.
• Ability to lead systems engineering efforts and coordinate across teams.
• Proficiency in developing system requirements, interfaces, and verification criteria.
• Strong documentation skills for System Engineering Plans and related documents.
• Experience interacting with government customers and managing risk.

Responsibilities

• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure delivery of production systems.
• Contribute to system engineering documentation such as SPs, ICDs, and Requirements specs.
• Assist with development of requirements and allocation to hardware/software/components.
• Coordinate action resolution from CCB meetings and design reviews.
• Participate in Integrated Product Teams for new capabilities.
• Allocate budgets and evaluate risk; plan verification efforts early.
