Job summary

WOOD is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 2 in Fort Meade, MD, to support DoD program engineering efforts. The role requires deep system engineering expertise and government project experience, with a TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph readiness.

Key responsibilities include leadership in requirements, design, and integration activities, plus development of technical documentation and interface control artifacts.

Qualifications

• Fourteen (14) years experience as a System Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems aligned with DoDAF/SOA.
• Develop system engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
• Assist with development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation to hardware, software, facility, and personnel.
• Coordinate resolution of action items from CCB meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews.
• Develop system designs and evaluate interfaces; provide technical direction for complex hardware/software systems.
