RTX—aerospace and defense leader—seeks a Senior Systems Engineer in Alexandria, VA to provide technical expertise and engineering support within a 24/7 operations program. You will lead cross-functional tasks, liaise with customers, and analyze performance metrics in a dynamic team setting.

Applicants must hold a TS/SCI CI Poly clearance, US citizenship, and a STEM degree with 8+ years of experience. The role requires strong problem-solving, data capture/visualization, and presentation skills in

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
• Experience with sensemaking applications and tools
• Experience with data analytics.
• Experience executing presentations
• Experience with general data capture and visualization tools
• An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support as a technical liaison with customers and demonstrate project leadership skills collaborating across customer and contractor boundaries.
• Perform in a high tempo, dynamic small team environment, closely integrated with customers and contractors.
• Routinely called upon to support major projects that support the program/customer.
• Develop and implement solutions to complex problems.
• Capture, analyze, and present systems performance metrics.
• Support Concept of Operations (CONOP) updates and provide applicable improvements.
• Functionally utilize systems related, discrepancy reporting, and data analysis tools (i.e. SPLUNK, KIBANA, etc.).
