General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our intelligence-focused team in Springfield, MO (and potentially in VA).
The candidate will think strategically about technology and business while delivering across multi-site enterprise environments. The role involves documenting requirements, developing architecture artifacts, integrating hardware/software components, and coordinating across contracts to deliver secure, compliant solutions.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; sponsorship possible.
- 10+ years as a Systems Engineer in large-scale environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience writing detailed, technical documentation.
- IAT Level II certification required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to assess and track requirements.
- Develop artifacts and architectural documentation for integrated systems.
- Support integration and testing of hardware/software components on complex programs.
- Produce architecture artifacts spanning technical, physical, and logical designs.
- Monitor service channels and coordinate closure of tickets as needed.
- Engage with cross-contract teams to document environments and solutions.
