Job summary

Peraton seeks an Expert-level Systems Engineer (NRG Chief Engineer Technical Advisor) to support the Government Chief Engineer and Program Manager in resolving engineering and integration challenges, develop action plans, and prepare executive briefings.

The role spans the systems engineering lifecycle, industry program management practices, and sensor integration across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field; 4 additional years of experience allowed in lieu of a degree.
• 18+ years of relevant experience in DoD/IC environments and large, complex Systems of Systems.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI eligibility and pass a polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and drive IPT issues to closure.
• Identify topics for Engineering Review Board discussions.
• Plan, analyze, and trace requirements, architectures, and system problems.
• Review cloud service capabilities and scheduling.
• Advise Government on solution design changes based on analysis.
• Lead AoAs, CoAs, trade studies, and engineering assessments.
• Support strategic technical planning, risk management, and interface design.
• Provide program management support covering cost, schedule, risk, requirements, and performance.
