Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Expert Chief Engineer Technical Advisor – NRG in the US (Chantilly or Springfield, VA). The role provides expert guidance across the systems engineering lifecycle, program management, and stakeholder engagement to support NGA GEOINT missions.

The candidate will lead analyses of requirements, architectures, and trade studies, interfacing with government stakeholders and delivering executive-level briefings. On-site, senior-level leadership with TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or related STEM field; equivalent experience allowed with extra years.
• 18+ years of relevant experience in DoD/IC environments with systems of systems or SOA architectures.
• Experience with NGA/NSG/ASG programs and DoD/IC acquisition processes.
• Ability to communicate technical information to diverse audiences and understand lifecycle.
• TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain and pass polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and drive IPT issues to closure.
• Identify topics for Engineering Review Board discussions.
• Assist with planning, analysis, and traceability of requirements and architectures.
• Review cloud service capabilities and scheduling.
• Advise Government on solution design changes.
• Translate mission needs into system requirements.
• Lead AoAs, CoAs, trade studies and engineering assessments.
• Support strategic technical planning and risk management.
