Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Belcamp, MD. This is an onsite position supporting the Army NetMod program.

The Senior Systems Engineer will translate user requirements into system designs, develop test strategies, and ensure FMC readiness across fielded systems. DoD experience and IAT Level II eligibility are required or anticipated.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science and 15+ years of relevant experience as a System Engineer or related activities.
• 5+ years in the Department of Defense supporting systems engineering technologies highly preferred.
• Must be familiar with designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, reliable communication networks in dynamic environments, including field-based tasks.
• Must be able to obtain DoD 8570/8410 IAT Level II.
• Experience integrating existing infrastructures with new tactical network components.

Responsibilities

• Translate user requirements into system, hardware, and software requirements and design.
• Participate in development of test strategies.
• Assist in developing solutions to systems engineering challenges based on technology insertion and integration.
• Maintain knowledge of Tactical Network hardware and software as they relate to battlefield communications.
• Install unit configurations and IPs based on system architecture and standards.
• Ensure FMC readiness after fielding, reset or upgrade.
