Qualifications

• Experience designing and administering LAN/CAN/WAN in DoD or IC classified environments.
• Experience implementing network solutions including load-balancing, VPNs, firewall contexts, VoIP, GRE tunneling, IPSec, IP encryption, NAT.
• Experience translating business or mission requirements into telecommunications designs and engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions from concept through deployment for LAN/CAN/WAN infrastructures.
• Analyze design specifications and program materials to guide network architecture.
• Configure and maintain network diagrams and accreditations; oversee network equipment support.
• Coordinate with users/sites to resolve incidents and assist with network interfaces.
• Mentor junior Network Engineers and manage assigned tasks.
