Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Model and Simulation Systems Engineer to support live, virtual, and constructive training for space operations. The role requires expertise with STK, MBSE, SysML, and space domain awareness, with a TS clearance and the ability to obtain a CI polygraph.

Position is based at Schriever Space Force Base, CO, with full-time duties on-site in Colorado Springs. Expect collaboration with government and contractor teams and briefings for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience; graduate degree with 4+ years; in lieu of a degree, 10+ years experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Support a team developing a concept of operations and a notional system architecture for live, virtual, and constructive training.
• Unify space operations concepts to enable training, exercises, and experiments for command and control of USSPACECOM units.
• Generate briefings and products for senior leadership and enterprise awareness.
• Work full-time at a customer site in Colorado Springs.
