L3Harris Technologies has an immediate opening for a Lead Space Systems Engineer in Wilmington, MA. The role focuses on MBSE across complex space systems, coordinating design, modeling, and integration activities to deliver mission-ready solutions.

The ideal candidate has deep MBSE experience within aerospace/defense, strong leadership, and the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. Relocation assistance is available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 9+ years of related experience; graduate degree with 7+ years; or 13+ years w/o degree.
• 5+ years experience in MBSE tools such as MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect.
• Experience in aerospace systems or related space programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement MBSE methodologies for space systems projects.
• Conduct systems modeling and simulation to validate requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure MBSE alignment across space initiatives.
• Provide leadership and mentoring on MBSE best practices.
