Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for our Tucson, AZ campus. The role centers on software-centric systems engineering for missile programs, with emphasis on embedded software design, integration, and test. You will manage requirements, perform model-based engineering with Cameo, and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver robust solutions.

Requirements include MBSE, requirements development, and verification experience; a DoD security clearance is required for this U.S. role.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 5 years of prior engineering experience.
• Experience in Systems Engineering.
• Experience in MBSE, Requirements Development/Management/Verification or Integration and Test for software products.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain system and subsystem level requirements for embedded software, configurable logic and/or test systems software.
• Model the system and development/production processes using Cameo.
• Conduct trade studies and present results to customers.
• SE technical contributor for verification and validation efforts, ensuring all requirements are assessed.
• Work with Systems, Software, Configurable Logic and Test teams on program tasks.
• Participate in technical conversations with the customer.
• Become a knowledgeable go-to Systems Engineer for the software-centric program.
• Help onboard new team members and mentor them using core Systems Engineering skills.
