Job summary

Vibrint is seeking a highly experienced Systems Engineer to support design, deployment, and modernization of complex IT and SIGINT platforms across field sites. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure and documentation.

The role requires deep expertise in Linux/Windows, Cisco networking, cloud concepts, and hands-on deployment. A 20+ year track record in systems engineering is expected.

Qualifications

• Designing, interpreting, and modifying system and network engineering drawings.
• Administering systems across Linux and Windows environments.
• Extensive experience integrating, configuring, deploying, and sustaining network and data-processing systems.
• Hands-on experience with rack-and-stack installation, cabling, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, and network security protocols.
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices.
• Experience developing detailed system-engineering, deployment, transition, and sustainment documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support all phases of design, implementation, deployment, modernization, and sustainment of complex IT systems and SIGINT platforms.
• Develop engineering documentation to transition new and upgraded systems into operational environments across architectures and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineers on field-site deployments and support missions.
• Document all phases of system design, implementation, deployment, modernization, and sustainment.
• Develop design reviews, transition plans, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Design and modify system and network drawings using Visio or similar tools.
• Support architecture and integration of communications technologies and virtualized IT infrastructure.
• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows environments.
• Integrate, configure, deploy, test, and sustain network and data-processing hardware/software.
• Support Cisco routers, switches, and security protocols.
• Hands-on deployment activities: rack-and-stack, cabling, testing, troubleshooting.
• Deploy new systems and upgrades at field sites.
• Apply cloud computing concepts to system designs and modernization.
• Troubleshoot issues across hardware, software, OS, networks, and infrastructure.
• Create and maintain detailed architecture, deployment, transition, and operational documentation.
• Track requirements using Jira and Confluence.
• Collaborate with systems, network, software, cybersecurity, operations, and mission teams.
• Develop technical reports, briefings, and materials using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
