Job summary

Modern Government Solutions seeks a Sr. Systems Engineer, Digital Engineering Solutions to deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and sustain enterprise engineering platform environments in support of national security missions.

In this role, you will configure and administer Teamwork Cloud, Cameo, and associated tools within secure cloud-based infrastructures, leveraging Automation as Code (AaC) and CI/CD pipelines to drive reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph.
• Security+ CE certification per DoD 8140 requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years deploying and sustaining enterprise engineering platforms in cloud environments.
• Experience configuring Teamwork Cloud, Cameo, Cassandra, and CI/CD pipelines using AaC.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications with ServiceNow and similar tools.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (Cassandra, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Experience IdAM technologies including Active Directory, SAML, OpenLDAP, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC.
• Experience developing integrations using Python, PowerShell, and Groovy; strong testing/documentation.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, maintain, and optimize Teamwork Cloud, Cameo, Cassandra, and related platforms within cloud environments.
• Implement Automation as Code (AaC) solutions and CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment, configuration, and sustainment activities.
• Develop and maintain integrations between engineering platforms, workflow systems, automation tools, and enterprise services.
• Administer databases, authentication services, and identity management solutions supporting engineering environments.
• Troubleshoot complex application, infrastructure, and integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and execute testing, validation, and quality assurance activities to ensure system reliability and operational readiness.
• Support DevOps and infrastructure automation initiatives utilizing Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and program stakeholders to implement technical solutions and process improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer workstation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and stakeholders in both written and verbal formats.
