Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a principal/senior engineer to oversee cost accounts on E-2 projects and to drive systems engineering execution. You will coordinate with project management, engineering management, and IPTs, review budgets, and input earned value data while developing resolutions to issues affecting productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in STEM with required years of related experience.
• Experience with earned value management and cost accounting.
• Ability to obtain/maintain government clearance (Secret or higher).
• Background in systems engineering or related discipline.
• Experience leading projects and driving performance to schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage cost accounts for ongoing E-2 engineering projects.
• Serve as liaison between project management, engineering management, and IPTs.
• Review project and budget status; manage schedules; input EVM data.
• Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Oversee estimates and proposals across MDC2 IPTs.
• Drive technical execution of systems engineering tasks.
