Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to lead requirements management, system design, and verification for complex programs. The role requires a strong background in baseline management, DOORS, and skilled communication with both technical and leadership stakeholders.

The position is onsite in Woodland Hills, CA, with a US Secret clearance and 10% travel. Candidates should have a STEM degree with extensive engineering experience and a proven ability to bring concepts from

Qualifications

STEM degree with 12+ years (BS), 10+ (MS), or 8+ (PhD) in engineering.
Proven experience with DOORS requirements and baseline management.
Experience in system engineering activities: software requirements development, requirements development, test case development, and verification/validation.
Excellent written and oral communication; proven presentations to internal/external stakeholders.
Ability to work onsite full-time at Woodland Hills, CA and hold a current US Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Identify requirements, translate into design documentation, and collaborate with a diverse team to build and test those requirements.
Tackle complex technical problems and provide solutions aligned with customer and program needs.
Present capabilities to customers and leadership, including performance analyses and verification methods.
Lead an Agile team to ensure designs meet system requirements and coordinate cross-functional efforts.
Provide test directions and ensure production and troubleshooting tests meet data requirements.
