Base-2 Solutions in Bethesda, MD seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support the NDOC under a long-term contract. You will perform systems engineering tasks, MBSE coordination, and act as scrum master for a software team. On-site work with occasional remote options and a flexible schedule.

You will drive requirements analysis, system design, integration, testing, and documentation, while coordinating across teams to ensure successful delivery and risk mitigation. SSBI/TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field; 12+ years in software development or systems engineering.
• Experience creating design packages and workflows.
• Experience writing technical solutions and whitepapers.
• Experience implementing Agile processes and techniques.
• Experience facilitating scrum activities including Planning, Retrospective, Grooming, and Review/Demo.
• Experience with collaboration tools like Gitlab/JIRA/Confluence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with MBSE approaches and tools.

Aufgaben

• Perform and manage systems engineering activities across requirements analysis, design, integration and testing.
• Support Agile sprints and releases; contribute to tickets and program documentation.
• Lead MBSE efforts for planning, design and sustainment with the team.
• Define processes for technical platforms, system specs, and compatibility parameters.
• Help establish engineering processes and toolchains for analysis, risk mitigation, and test prep.
• Manage a scrum team across microservices and support system architectures.
