Job summary

Paragon seeks a Systems Engineer III at Scott AFB, IL. The role requires deep expertise in software systems development, integration, and network engineering, supporting PMO activities and compliance with FISMA policies.

The successful candidate will define specifications, develop complex systems, coordinate with programmers and engineers, and provide technical guidance while ensuring system availability and user experience. Requires security clearance and 7+ years in the field.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• IAWIP Certification: IAM I.
• 7+ years’ experience in systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develops specifications to enable programmers to build required software and subsystems.
• Leads technical reviews such as System Requirements and Design Reviews.
• Assesses architectures, improves system performance, and coordinates with engineers.
• Identifies risks and proposes mitigation strategies.
