Job summary

CHAOS Industries seeks an Integration & Test Engineer to own the I&T process, collaborating across hardware, software and firmware to build a cohesive system. You will conduct rigorous lab and field tests to verify performance and support moving the product from assembly to deployment readiness.

The role requires experience with RF systems, debugging across mechanical, electronic and software domains, and developing test plans and benches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a technical role in manufacturing, engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (signal generators, spectrum analyzers) and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C++ for testing and automation.
• Systems engineering experience with RF systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the Integration and Test process and collaborate with engineers to integrate components into a cohesive system.
• Conduct rigorous testing in labs or field environments to verify system performance against specifications.
• Support System I&T to move product from assembly to deployment readiness.
• Perform integration, verification, and testing in lab or field to ensure specifications.
• Debug, trace, and correct faults in mechanical, electronic and software systems.
• Develop and document comprehensive test plans and procedures for efficient handoff to technicians.
• Create test benches/suites to streamline I&T processes.
• Identify tools and equipment required to support I&T and set up equipment as necessary.
• Collaborate with Lead Systems Engineer to create and execute test plans for lab, production and field environments.
• Work with engineering teams to understand system limitations and capabilities.
• Assist in setup and configuration of system hardware components.
• Work 4–5 days per week at our office in Los Angeles (Hawthorne), California.
