Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to lead the design, analysis, integration, and validation of high-reliability RF/microwave hardware for aerospace and defense systems. This on-site role is based in El Segundo, CA and spans from architecture studies to production sustainment.

The ideal candidate has strong RF fundamentals, hands-on measurement experience with VNAs and lab equipment, and familiarity with HFSS/ADS/AWR. U.S. security clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years RF experience, or a Master/PhD with fewer years.
• Experience developing RF hardware for aerospace, defense, avionics, radar, EW, or space systems.
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters).
• Ability to obtain U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, prototype, and tune RF circuits using catalog MMICs.
• Plan and execute RF testing and characterization at board, module, and subsystem levels.
• Collaborate with systems, power, digital, mechanical, and software engineers.
• Support RF PCB layout and impedance control.
