Job summary

Atlas Technica is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to join our growing Support team. This hands-on role provides advanced remote support, systems administration, infrastructure troubleshooting, and technical escalation across Atlas Technica client environments.

The Sr. Systems Engineer serves as an escalation point, mentoring junior engineers and partnering with Client Technology Managers to resolve complex issues while advancing cloud, security, and infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

3+ years of relevant IT experience in systems engineering or related environment.
Strong end-user and desktop support experience with Windows and Office.
Significant experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Entra ID.
Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced remote IT support across client environments.
Serve as escalation point for junior engineers and peers.
Mentor engineers with troubleshooting and documentation practices.
Manage and resolve complex support requests in the ticketing system.
Support Microsoft 365 technologies and Windows Server environments.
Troubleshoot networking, virtualization, cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure issues.
Support Azure workloads and contribute to cloud initiatives.
Maintain technical documentation and change-control procedures.
