Job summary

KBR is seeking an ESS Test and Evaluation Engineer in El Segundo, California. This on-site role supports the MILSATCOM SE&I efforts, leading T&E planning, risk assessment, and coordination with SE&I teams and government partners to deliver secure, reliable space communication systems.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in systems engineering and verification, a DoD Secret clearance, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

8+ years demonstrated experience in systems engineering.
8+ years with system test, verification, or analysis.
Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; equivalent degree +2 years may be accepted.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
On-site work in a secure facility due to security requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop T&E strategy, TEMP, validation and test plans.
Support SITP and SEP development.
Collect, review, analyze, and report T&E data; document assessments.
Support common T&E database; integrate Digital Engineering and Environment processes.
Lead IPT meetings and coordinate with multiple teams for test and integration.
Develop risk mitigation plans for SE, test, and integration.
