Saalex is hiring a Project Manager/Senior Systems Engineer (SSAT) in Camarillo, CA, to provide technical leadership for Subsonic Aerial Target programs. The role blends systems engineering with technical project management in dynamic Navy test environments.

Responsibilities include leading planning, scheduling, risk management, and cross-functional coordination with Government, contractors, and OEMs. Requires active Secret clearance and 5+ years in defense-related roles; salary range $125k-$145k

Formación

• Minimum 5 years in systems engineering or technical PM in DoD/Navy/defense.
• Experience managing schedules, scope, risks, and deliverables.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional meetings with government and contractors.
• Proficient in executive-level PowerPoint presentations.
• Strong documentation review for engineering procedures and test docs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical planning, scheduling, and systems engineering for SSAT programs.
• Develop detailed schedules, milestones, dependencies, and execution plans.
• Manage scope, risks, and mitigation strategies with leadership and stakeholders.
• Coordinate documentation, software configurations, and baselines.
• Serve as liaison among Government, contractors, and OEMs to align efforts.
• Prepare executive briefings and status reports for leadership.
• Support lifecycle management for target platforms and flight software.
