Job summary

Saalex Solutions - A Saalex Company in Camarillo, CA seeks a Project Manager/Senior Systems Engineer (SSAT) to provide technical leadership, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive Subsonic Aerial Target programs in Navy test environments.

This full-time onsite role requires active secret clearance, 5+ years in DoD/Navy systems engineering or technical PM, and a Bachelor's (Masters preferred). Travel to Point Mugu and China Lake occasionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in systems engineering or technical project management within DoD/Navy.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing technical schedules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for executive briefings.
• Security clearance: Active secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules and milestones across contracts.
• Manage scope, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate engineering documents, configurations, and baselines.
• Support lifecycle management for targets, flight software, and testing assets.
• Serve as liaison between Government, contractors, and OEMs.
• Prepare executive briefings and metrics for leadership.
• Coordinate asset management and logistics.
• Lead technical meetings and planning reviews.
