Job summary

Black Eagle Defense seeks a seasoned Systems Engineer III to lead complex system engineering efforts. You will apply DoDAF and SOA concepts, manage requirements, and guide architectures for advanced platforms. Your role includes data-collection setup, platform maintenance, and mentoring junior engineers.

You will provide training, documentation, and technical support while collaborating with external teams to resolve challenges and ensure compliance and reliability across the program lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years of SE experience required.
• CWIP IAT II certification required
• Bachelor's degree as stated in qualifications; 5 years extra SE experience may substitute for degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead system design, architecture development, integration, and lifecycle engineering activities.
• Oversee data collection setup, platform maintenance, and model network infrastructure.
• Provide technical training, documentation, and support to junior engineers and external teams.
• Coordinate with DoDAF/JCIDS processes and produce verification & validation criteria.
• Develop and review SE documentation including SPs, ICDs, and requirements specs.
• Manage risks using approved methods and conduct trade studies.
