Job summary

PE Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in the Training Directorate at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The role applies DoD and Air Force engineering principles to improve performance, reliability, and lifecycle support of weapon systems.

You will develop technical data packages, participate in major reviews, and provide engineering support across risk management, safety, and program cost objectives. A Secret clearance and travel to multiple facilities are required.

Qualifications

MA degree and more than 10 years of related experience, OR BA degree and more than 15 years of related experience.
Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Project).
Must be able to perform all functional duties independently.
Must be able to transport to various facility sites with valid driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

Applies DoD and Air Force engineering principles to improve weapon system performance and lifecycle support.
Supports airworthiness activities and certification requirements under applicable guidance.
Contributes to system safety, risk assessment, and mitigation planning.
Develops technical data packages, staff summaries, and executive briefings for leadership reviews.
Participates in major engineering reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and cost/schedule performance analyses.
