Job summary

PE Systems, Inc. has a great opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer in the Training Directorate at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The mission is to develop, deliver, and sustain integrated training capabilities to employ airpower and ensure war-winning readiness.

We seek an experienced professional who can apply DoD/Air Force engineering principles to improve weapon system performance, support airworthiness, and advance safety and lifecycle sustainment across programs.

Qualifications

• MA degree with 10+ years of related experience or BA degree with 15+ years of related experience.
• Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project).
• Must be able to perform all functional duties independently.
• Must be able to transport self to various facility sites and have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Applies DoD, Air Force, and engineering principles to improve weapon system performance, reliability, and lifecycle support.
• Supports airworthiness certification activities and compliance with USAF airworthiness policies.
• Contributes to safety and mission assurance programs and prepares engineering documentation and presentations.
• Performs system integration engineering activities including architecture development and interoperability analysis.
• Supports development of acquisition artifacts, KPPs, and program cost and schedule considerations.
