Job summary

PE Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in the Training Directorate for Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The role focuses on applying DoD/AF engineering principles to improve weapon system performance and lifecycle support.

The position requires a Secret clearance and extensive experience with MS Office tools, plus a background in systems engineering and airworthiness activities. Dayton-area commute and on-site work at Wright Patterson AFB are expected.

Qualifications

• MA degree with 10+ years related experience, or BA with 15+ years.
• Secret government security clearance required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Applies DoD and Air Force engineering principles to improve weapon system performance.
• Performs airworthiness certification support and safety analyses.
• Supports system safety programs, risk assessments, and hazard analyses.
• Develops engineering artifacts including requirements, plans, and test documentation.
• Participates in major design reviews and lifecycle events.
