Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation in Ohio is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer who will lead requirements engineering, systems integration, verification and validation, and MBSE activities across a major aircraft digital model program. You will drive architecture decisions and ensure lifecycle management aligns with program goals.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, and ensure risk management and schedule adherence while interfacing with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field.
• Fundamental understanding of FAA Part 25 aircraft systems.
• Expert proficiency with systems modeling and simulation tools.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in systems engineering.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit expert-level skills in requirements engineering, systems integration, V&V, and MBSE.
• Advance and manage a large FAA Part 25 aircraft digital system model in Cameo (No Magic).
• Leverage deep knowledge in architecture/design development, technical monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Provide strong leadership and effective communication across engineering disciplines and locations; mentor team members.
