Sierra Nevada Company, LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead complex system engineering efforts for the ISR/aircraft domain. You will own requirements engineering, system integration, V&V, MBSE, and life cycle management across multi-disciplinary teams.

You will mentor engineers, drive risk management, and ensure alignment with program goals, customer needs, and security requirements, including FAA Part 25 knowledge.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field.
• Fundamental understanding of FAA Part 25 aircraft systems.
• Expert proficiency with systems modeling and simulation tools.
• Proven leadership experience in systems engineering.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
• Intermediate understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, allocation; V&V principles; technical risk identification and management strategies.

• Exhibit expert-level skills in requirements engineering, systems integration, V&V, and MBSE.
• Lead FAA Part 25 digital system model development and alignment with program goals and standards.
• Direct architecture/design development, technical monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Provide leadership and effective communication across engineering disciplines and locations.
• Mentor and guide team members to ensure alignment with objectives.
