Job summary

Northrop Grumman Oceanic seeks an Engineer System/Principal Engineer Systems generalist to join the SEIT&L team. You will support complex maritime programs, contributing to the development of advanced oceanic systems including UUVs, ROVs, sensors, and digital engineering.

Responsibilities include mission engineering, requirements management, interface development, CONOPS, trade studies, integration & test, and preparation for milestone reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience in multidisciplinary teams delivering complex systems engineering products.
• Proficiency with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices.
• Familiarity with DOORS for requirements management.

Responsibilities

• Work within multi-disciplinary teams to perform mission engineering, requirements management, system architecture development, MBSE, and interface management.
• Develop systems engineering work products for the above functions.
• Prepare and brief technical packages to program, company, and customer leadership teams.
• Support project reviews, technical planning, and milestone activities (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, CSR).
• Assist with capture and proposal activities.
