Job summary

Northrop Grumman invites qualified engineers to join the SEITL Department in Annapolis, MD, focusing on systems engineering for complex maritime programs. Candidates contribute across MBSE, requirements management, architecture, and verification while leveraging state-of-the-art oceanic technologies including UUVs, ROVs, and sonar systems.

On-site role with clearances preferred. The position offers opportunities to work on critical national programs, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams,

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with a Bachelor or 0 years with a Master/PhD in Systems Engineering.
• Strong interest in maritime surface/undersea domain.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Experience in systems engineering processes: requirements, modeling, architecture, interface traceability, integration & test, verification & validation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn additional discipline areas.
• Current Top Secret clearance, willingness to obtain TS/SCI with CI poly.

Responsibilities

• Work in multi-disciplinary teams across mission engineering, requirements management, architecture development, interface management.
• Develop systems engineering work products.
• Prepare and brief technical packages to leadership and customers.
• Support program processes, reviews, and technical planning.
• Develop content and present at milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, CSR).
• Support capture and proposal activities.
