Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Annapolis, MD seeks an Engineer Systems/Principal Engineer Systems engineering generalist to support complex maritime programs of national strategic importance.

You will contribute to state-of-the-art oceanic systems and work with teams on requirements, modeling, architecture, interface management, and digital design threads. A Secret clearance and STEM degree are required, with growth through MBSE and digital engineering.

Qualifications

• 2 years exp with a Bachelors or 0 exp with a Masters/PhD.
• Keen interest in maritime surface/undersea domain.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
• Demonstrated experience in SE processes: requirements, modeling, architecture, interface management, test & validation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Active Secret clearance; willingness for TS/SCI poly.
• Willingness to learn additional disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Work in multi-disciplinary teams on mission engineering, requirements, architecture, MBSE, and design integration.
• Develop SE work products for above functions.
• Prepare technical packages for program leadership and customers.
• Support project reviews, technical planning, and milestone activities.
• Assist in capture and proposal activities.
• Provide content for SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, CSR milestones.
