Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal SEIT to lead a small team in Roy, UT, supporting the Sentinel ICBM launch control systems across ground and airborne assets. The role emphasizes architecture, integration, and milestone activities within DoD programs.

Responsibilities include guiding system decomposition, conducting trade studies, and coordinating with Sentinel customers to deliver MPE-compliant products. Active DoD Secret clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 8 years of experience; 6 years with a Master’s; 4 with PhD may apply.
• Must be a US Citizen with an Active DoD Secret Clearance within the last 6 years.
• 3+ years of experience developing or reviewing requirements using DOORS or similar tool.
• 2+ years’ experience in ICBM or complex aerospace/defense systems.
• 2+ years’ experience in team environments with leadership responsibilities.
• 1+ year experience creating, updating, and maintaining system performance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop system level architecture and allocate from Weapon System Specification to lowest CI definition.
• Perform trade studies for SFR, CDR and PDR campaigns.
• Develop product support for milestone campaign activities.
• Collaborate with Sentinel customer base to develop products for Sentinel MPEs.
• Negotiate and execute MPE criteria in support of Milestone B.
