Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a large-scale deployment in a customer-facing environment. This role requires strong infrastructure experience, problem solving, and excellent communication to coordinate across Operations, Software Engineering, and QA teams.

The ideal candidate will manage Linux and Windows systems, containerized applications with Kubernetes, and NVR/video management platforms, delivering reliable, high-performance solutions for transportation technology clients in

Qualifications

3+ years of experience supporting enterprise systems and infrastructure.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
Ability to independently manage workloads and prioritize tasks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Customer service-oriented with client-facing experience.
Experience working across cross-functional technical teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison for customers by responding to operational questions, incidents, and technical issues.
Support and maintain Network Video Recorder (NVR) and video management systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and communication issues.
Participate in customer meetings, technical reviews, and change control processes.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance across Linux, Windows, and COTS applications.
Monitor and support containerized applications and infrastructure environments.
Collaborate with Software Engineering and QA teams to test, validate, and deploy new products and enhancements.
Deliver operational and technical training to end users and operations staff.
Assess system performance and identify opportunities for operational improvements and technology enhancements.
Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical systems during off-hours.
