SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the U.S. Navy CPS program. You will review LSI architecture and MBSE artifacts, assess ICDs/IRSs/IDDs, and ensure traceability to higher-level requirements. You will prepare formal comments, identify risks, and support technical reviews for critical milestone events.

You will collaborate with Government leads, other contractors, and LSI staff to produce concise, actionable assessments and ensure adherence to DoD processes and MBSE standards.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing architecture, interface, and requirements documentation for complex defense systems.
• Working knowledge of systems engineering processes per DoD guidance.
• Experience with requirements decomposition, allocation, and traceability.
• Experience developing and adjudicating comments through CRM processes.
• Familiarity with DoD technical review processes (SRR, PDR, CDR).
• Strong technical writing to produce concise, defensible comments.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent document reviews independently.

Responsabilités

• Review LSI system architecture products and MBSE artifacts for completeness and traceability.
• Evaluate ICDs, IRSs and IDDs for consistency across elements.
• Analyze specifications for clarity and verifiability.
• Prepare and adjudicate formal comments using CRMs.
• Identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Support government prep for SRR, PDR, CDR reviews.
• Assess verification approaches and VCRM mappings.
• Support configuration and change management activities.
