Job summary

Precise Systems, Inc. seeks an experienced Systems Engineer III to support complex Navy and DoW programs, guiding architecture development, integration, and lifecycle activities. You will track requirements, risks, and documentation across software, hardware, and networks in a collaborative, cross-functional team.

In-person role requiring strong technical judgment, cross-domain coordination, and the ability to deliver capability roadmaps and acquisition support across DoD programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years of related systems engineering experience.
• Experience serving as a systems engineer or supporting system engineering activities for complex software, hardware, network, or mission systems.
• Experience supporting architecture development, technical integration, requirements analysis, or related processes.
• Understanding of software architecture, requirements-driven design, test-driven development, and system integration concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support systems engineering execution across complex Navy and DoW programs by coordinating requirements, interfaces, architecture products, integration dependencies, risks, and engineering activities across stakeholders.
• Apply systems engineering processes to support system and SoS requirements, design, analysis, verification, validation, sustainment, and acquisition lifecycle activities.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain as-is and to-be architectures for fielded and programmed capabilities.
• Support enterprise architecture development by coordinating architecture data, artifacts, and integration with current workflows and docs.
• Provide technical input to software architecture, requirements-driven design, test/behavior-driven development, system specs, and platform parameters.
• Support SoS integration and capability analysis via risk identification, studies, architecture reviews, and roadmaps.
• Coordinate cybersecurity-informed architecture and RMF considerations across engineering, procurement, and sustainment.
