Applied Research Solutions in Offutt, Nebraska, is seeking a Systems Engineer III to advance mission-critical software modernization and deployment for the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center and USSTRATCOM/J56. The role emphasizes systems engineering, Agile/DevOps, and CI/CD to improve survivability and interoperability of strategic weapon systems.

The position is on-site full-time with travel up to 10%. Candidates must be US citizens with TS/SCI clearance and a Bachelor's degree and at least 12

Qualifications

Citizenship: US citizen.
Clearance: TS with SCI eligibility required.
Education: Bachelor's degree.
Experience: minimum 12 years relevant DoD experience.
On-site: duties performed on-site at Offutt, NE.
Travel: up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

Lead business systems analysis for integration of conventional and nuclear mission capabilities under J56.
Coordinate requirements gathering with stakeholders to align strategic objectives.
Develop process flows and data mappings bridging legacy nuclear systems with modern platforms.
Partner with engineering and security teams to meet nuclear surety, safety, and compliance standards.
Facilitate cross-domain groups to resolve integration challenges and ensure interoperability.
Oversee end-to-end integration testing and scenario simulations for dual-domain readiness.
Provide leadership with impact analyses, risk assessments, and mitigation recommendations.
