Job summary

The Structures Company seeks a Sr Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the IBM ELM platform for safety-critical aerospace workflows and the Digital Thread initiative.

Responsibilities include configuring ELM tools (DOORS NG, EWM, ETM, Rhapsody, GCM, JTS), building integrations via OSLC/REST, and creating enterprise dashboards with Power BI or Tableau. Strong MBSE, ARP4754A/B experience is required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Person per ITAR.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical field.
• 5+ years in software and systems engineering tooling with deep hands-on IBM ELM expertise.
• Proven experience integrating IBM ELM with major PLM systems (Siemens Teamcenter, Windchill, or 3DEXPERIENCE).
• Strong experience with ARP4754A/B and DO-178C/DO-254.
• Experience with MBSE and Requirements Based Engineering.
• Experience with OSLC, REST APIs, scripting in JavaScript and Python.
• Experience with IBM ELM tools: DOORS NG, EWM, ETM, Rhapsody, GCM, JTS.
• Experience creating enterprise dashboards using ELM/Power BI/Tableau.
• Preferred: IBM Certified Specialist; familiarity with Agile, SAFe, Waterfall.

Responsibilities

• Designs and maintains IBM ELM platform for safety-critical workflows.
• Configures ELM tools including DOORS NG, EWM, ETM, Rhapsody, GCM, JTS.
• Implements integrations between IBM ELM and PLM/CAD/ERP/MES via OSLC and REST APIs.
• Builds data pipelines and supports Digital Thread.
• Aligns ELM workflows with ARP4754A/B for civil aircraft development.
• Maps and tracks DAL levels across system architecture elements.
• Manages change requests, defects, and sprint planning in EWM.
• Develops automation scripts and integrations using JavaScript and Python.
• Designs automated reports and dashboards with ELM, Power BI, Tableau.
• Configures project areas, access rights, and workflows in ELM administration.
