Job summary

General Motors is seeking a System Integration Engineer to drive VMEC Processes and collaborate with product teams and Global Systems Engineering. You will update the Controls Process of Engineering to reflect evolving SAFe practices and coach agile teams in process and solution intent management.

You will own sections of the CPOE, support governance forums, and develop training materials while aligning with industry trends and best practices in system engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related field required.
• Two years of experience as a System Integration Engineer, Design Engineer, or related role.

Responsibilities

• Drive VMEC Systems Engineering processes across the organization with product teams and Global Systems Engineering partners.
• Understand evolving SAFe practices and update Controls Process of Engineering accordingly.
• Act as point of contact for System Engineering tools and governance; interface with discipline leads to improve efficiency.
• Own and maintain sections of the Controls Process of Engineering; support governance forums and gather engineering feedback.
• Develop metrics for process maturity and participate in audit activities; mentor agile teams in process and solution intent management.
