Job summary

ASEC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer at NAS Patuxent River (MD) to provide systems engineering expertise for PMA-242. The role covers requirements development, integration, and lifecycle engineering for complex weapon systems, collaborating with Navy, program offices, and industry partners.

The candidate will lead SE technical reviews, risk management, and traceable capability roadmaps, requiring DoD-Secret eligibility and a strong DoD/military systems background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 8+ years of systems engineering experience in DoD/aerospace/regulated environments.
• Experience with requirements development, system integration, technical reviews, risk management, and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Lead SE technical reviews, requirements development, architecture, risk management, and CM.
• Conduct gap analyses to map warrior needs to capability requirements and roadmaps.
• Guide requirements definition, capability roadmapping, and integration planning for DoD strike weapons.
• Coordinate with test communities, industry partners, and fleet/combat air forces.
• Lead risk assessment activities for aircraft and system-of-systems integration.
• Interface with fleet users, sponsors, contractors, PMAs, and joint services.
