Job summary
Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead architecture, requirements development, and system analysis for Ground Based Radar projects in Woburn, MA. The role requires a STEM degree and 5+ years in radar or missile-defense sensor systems, with proficiency in MATLAB, Cameo, and MBSE. A Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Direct radar or missile-defense sensor systems experience including Model Based System Engineering and Cameo.
- Proficiency in MATLAB for algorithm development, modeling, or performance analysis.
- Hands-on system modeling, algorithm design, test vector development, or radar performance analysis.
- Strong documentation, technical writing, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and requirements development for GBR systems.
- Update architectural frameworks and system performance requirements.
- Analyze requirements and benchmark to ensure system-level performance.
- Collaborate with software and integration/test engineers on radar solutions.
- Support documentation reviews and customer engagements.
