Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. in Woburn, MA is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to lead architecture and requirements for Ground Based Radar (GBR) systems and to drive MBSE, performance analysis, and verification approaches.

You will work with software and integration/test teams to deliver high-performing radar solutions, support documentation and customer engagements, and you must hold an active Secret U.S. government clearance with U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Direct radar or missile-defense sensor systems experience (MBSE/Cameo).
• Proficiency in MATLAB for algorithm development and modeling.
• Hands-on system modeling and test vector development.
• Experience with engineering tools and processes; analytical problem solving.
• Strong communication, writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and with distributed teams.
• Active Secret U.S. government clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and requirements development for GBR systems.
• Contribute to framework updates, performance requirements and verification approaches.
• Analyze requirements and benchmark to ensure system-level performance.
• Collaborate with software and integration/test engineers on radar solutions.
• Support documentation, reviews, and customer engagements.
