Job summary

Raytheon Company, managed by Collins Aerospace, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the MANTA SEIT Department. You will help develop, integrate, and validate resilient navigation systems for GPS receivers and navigation technologies across DoD programs. The role involves multidisciplinary collaboration, modeling and simulation, and ensuring compliance with MIL-STD and RTCA standards.

A U.S. citizenship and Secret clearance are required, with a STEM degree and 5+ years of experience

Qualifications

• Experience in hardware/software development, system integration and requirements-based testing.
• Familiarity with GPS/Navigation systems including receiver design, integration and test.
• Experience with test equipment, technical design reviews and production readiness.
• Familiarity with Agile development and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with requirements development, management, traceability and allocation for systems, software and hardware.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage software and hardware requirements with traceability throughout the lifecycle.
• Create and maintain systems engineering documentation including test plans/procedures/reports.
• Support system integration, acceptance testing, troubleshooting, and verification.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers across electrical, mechanical, software, and logistics.
• Perform modeling and simulation including 6-DOF analysis to evaluate system performance.
• Contribute to design and analysis of GPS/navigation systems and SAASM/M-Code receivers.
