Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Systems Engineer SME to build, maintain, and guide integration with the hosting environment for NCIS Mission Applications. The role is in Quantico, VA and will be a hybrid position requiring on-site presence daily for the initial period.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, designing interfaces, and overseeing system and network integration, performance evaluation, and testing with collaboration across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Clearance required: Top Secret/SCI.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Ansible/Jenkins).
• Experience with container orchestration and service mesh tools.
• Knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform/OpenTofu).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and secure cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Gather information on capabilities of Company products and competitors.
• Translate strategies into system requirement specifications.
• Design interfaces and integrate network and system elements.
• Install and configure hardware, systems, and software for networks.
• Develop system-level requirements verification procedures and test plans.
• Monitor performance and perform tuning.
• Support business development and gather customer requirements.
