Job summary
Waters Corporation is seeking a Systems Engineer to support lifecycle management of cellular analysis, cell sorting, and laboratory automation technologies. The role requires a systems-level view across software, hardware, QC reagents, manufacturing, and customer workflows to influence product performance and reliability.
The successful candidate will apply scientific methods, experimental design, and statistical analysis to troubleshoot issues, develop test strategies, and support technology
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline; 4+ years of industrial experience in systems engineering, product development, or sustaining.
- Experience in flow cytometry or cell analysis areas preferred (signal processing, embedded systems, electronics, software, fluidics, optics, and/or assay reagents).
- Experience executing System Level Characterization, Integration or Test Procedures.
Responsibilities
- Support flow cytometry platforms, including system-level troubleshooting and verification planning.
- Develop and maintain technical expertise in bead reagent products and their application within flow cytometry systems.
- Support risk and regulatory assessments, field actions, and technology transfer.
