Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, immunology, biomedical engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience directing development and testing of complex systems.
• Ability to handle human blood or other biological samples in a BSL-2 lab.
• Working knowledge of statistics and data interpretation.
• Understanding multidisciplinary systems including optics, lasers, fluidics, software, and biology.
• Strong systems thinking and problem-solving with attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and conduct experiments to assess system performance.
• Develop and execute test methods, strategies, and verification protocols.
• Analyze and interpret data using engineering and statistical methods.
• Communicate results through reports and design reviews.
• Lead small to medium protocols including project planning and risk strategy development.
• Collaborate with systems, software, and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Apply systems thinking and root-cause analysis to improve products.
• Follow design control, quality, biosafety, and safety requirements.
