Job summary

Peraton seeks a Systems Engineer to support SITEC-3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance at Homestead ARB, FL. You will help maintain NetOps, server, storage, virtualization and cloud environments, ensuring secure, reliable IT services for USSOCOM components and deployed forces.

Qualifications

Senior Systems Engineer with experience in designing and maintaining complex IT systems.
Experience leading a small team for IT deployments and operations.
Familiarity with data center facilities and enterprise IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Plan, lead, and execute design, installation, and modernization of complex systems.
Lead architecture for enterprise IT infrastructure including servers and cloud.
Coordinate a small team of junior admins for trouble shooting and deployments.
Monitor data center resources and diagnose performance issues.
Collaborate with SOCOM and vendors on system implementation and optimization.
Provide expertise in Directory Services (DNS, GPO, ADFS, DFS, Domains and Trust).
Develop system documentation and baselines to measure performance.
Support shift work to cover mission-critical ops.
