Job summary

Peraton seeks a Systems Engineer to support the SITEC-3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance tasks on USSOCOM assets. This role is located at Homestead ARB, Florida, and involves delivering O&M services from networks and data centers to end-user support across the enterprise.

The candidate will lead the design and modernization of critical IT infrastructure, supervise junior staff, and collaborate with SOCOM and vendors to ensure seamless integration and secure operations 24x7x365.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• DoD 8570 IAT II Certification.
• DoW 8140 compliance under Work Role Code 451 by 1 Oct 26.
• Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Plans, leads, and independently executes the modeling, simulation, design, installation, maintenance, management, and modernization of complex systems solutions.
• Lead design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise IT infrastructure including server, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments.
• Lead a small team of junior systems administrators for troubleshooting and project work.
• Tests and analyzes data center elements, ensuring overall integration of enterprise systems.
• Monitor performance using software/hardware tools and diagnose issues affecting system performance.
• Collaborate with SOCOM, vendors, carriers, and technical staff on implementations and optimization.
• Provide high-level support in Directory Services and systems technologies.
• Ensure system integration and validation for new technology in the operating environment.
