Job summary

Peraton in Tampa, FL is seeking Senior Network Engineers to support the SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance contract for USSOCOM. The role focuses on building and maintaining NetOps, INE devices, and global network services.

You will design, implement, and support LAN/WAN, security controls, PKI, and enterprise data networks while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with government, vendors, and operators to ensure 24x7 operations.

Qualifications

• Min 9 years with HS degree; 7 years with AS/AA; 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA.
• DoD TS/SCI clearance required; DoD 8570 IAT II Certification, and CCNP or CCNP variants.
• CCNP Certification with CCNP Collaboration/Data Center/Enterprise or related credentials; CCDP or others listed.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and lead enterprise data, INE device, voice and video networks.
• Collaborate with Government, carriers, and technical staff on network implementation and optimization.
• Provide high-level networking expertise across LAN/WAN hardware, switches, routers.
• Lead teams integrating new technology into the operational environment.
• Document baselines to measure network performance globally.
• Advise senior government staff on best practices and policy recommendations.
• Provide comprehensive systems and network engineering and architectural planning.
• Interface with O&M personnel on strategic design and support.
• Review existing architectures and implement improvements as required.
• Coordinate end-to-end functionality of complex networks.
